Let's skip the generic song lyrics/film quotes/long list of things I enjoy.

I'm Amy.

Welcome to my world.

Oh and a heads up to anyone vain enough to think that was aimed at them; it probably was.

Interesting how transparent and irritating people become once they’ve shown their true colours.

Here’s to not ending up sad, alone and restricted to the Internet for the rest of our lives because i really don’t have the capacity to feed off of others misfortunes forever without thinking “there’s no point being a twat forever. Lets have a cup of tea and a sit down and reevaluate our pathetic existences”

amytation:

As unfortunate and horrific as today’s events were, it is being blown WAY out of proportion.

It’s convenient to forget things when it comes to priority, and apparently priority now exists in terms of blatant intolerance and misplaced propaganda. Utterly ridiculous using the murder of a man, military or not, to set new precedents and breed old hatred.

As unfortunate and horrific as today’s events were, it is being blown WAY out of proportion.

The sad fact is that a number of people are targeted, injured, even killed every day, not just by minorities.

It’s extremely disheartening to think that one man’s life is above another because instilled in this disgraceful attack is a sense of fear and morality that our government seem to thrive off of. We’re easier to control when we’re scared; easier to manage under threat.

The message being sent out, whichever side you choose to picket (“Terrorism” vs Britain) is not how these men have taken away from this man’s family; it’s about “terrorism” striking again right into the “pride” of our country. Hitting home where some feel the hardest. In a sense, disguising a countries prejudice and intolerance with minor elements of tragedy is just as sick as the crime itself.

It was a horrific crime and my thoughts are obviously with the family and friends of the victim, but it should be about him and not about where society stands on minorities.
